FISHING IN GUALEGUAY
In San Ambrosio we have an experienced fishing guide with great knowledge of the area. Our fishing programs can be half day or full day. We have a motorboat and we provide equipment.
Characteristics of the Region
Bordered by the Gualeguay river, crossed by the Clé stream, soaked by the Nogoyá stream, fed by the Victoria River and touched by the Parana Ibicuy and Pavón River, Gualeguay offers anglers a very rich ichthyological variety. Species groups as amarillos, moncholos, manduvas, patíes, surubíes; and also dorado, boga, palometa and tararira.
One option that no fisherman can omit is located about 9 kilometers from the city of Gualeguay. This is Puerto Ruiz, one of the main ports in the past, nostalgic between its docks and warehouses, a special place to find large specimens of Dorado.
Recommended methods
Bait Fishing: Yielding in places such as waterfalls, veriles, mouths of creeks and reeds. The most used baits for varied fishing are "tripero de Sábado" and "pulpito de Lombriz". For the rest, brown and about 20cm yangiula beetle.
Fishing Lure: The use of bait is suitable for the capture of fishing experience. On calm days, with little wind, the fun is in the use of floating lures, making pitches in streams and small lakes.
